Overview:

Turner Accountancy are looking to bring in a Digital Support Apprentice following the success of their accountancy apprentices. If you’re keen to kickstart your career in admin or accounts, this could be your perfect next step! It’s a very varied role the person will be assisting in both the admin and accounts departments.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for clients via telephone and entering Turner Accountancy. You will manage their tickets on ACT (databases for their clients) and triage tickets to account managers within the firm.
  • Key user of DEXT and Xero – which will be used in tandem with each other. Using DEXT you will upload expenses and invoices and access them via Xero.
  • Working in collaboration with the accountancy team by assigning them tickets on Xero to process invoices.
  • Using File Explorer, you will index and store files electronically for Turner Accountancy.
  • Composing weekly reports on Microsoft Word to be sent to line manager.
  • Communicating internally and externally using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Updating social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram with fresh content.

Required skills:

  • National 5 English and Maths.
  • Organisation and time management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Eager to learn.

Working hours: 34 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:15pm with 45 minute lunch break.

Salary: £13,348 - £17,680 per annum (depending on age).

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
