Data Support Apprentice

Overview:

You will undergo a structured apprenticeship to develop expertise in a customer service and data centric role. The apprentice will work under the supervision of the Support Manager using job tracking and CRM systems, project management and tracking and in-house software. The apprenticeship will combine hands-on technical training, classroom learning, and mentoring to prepare the candidate for a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and oversee of mobile dispatch.
  • Booking requests into job tracking and CRM system.
  • Control and answering of SMS chat flow.
  • Control of complex invoicing – movement of DOD to Mobile offering a single point of invoice.
  • Data reporting.
  • Inbound and outbound support calls.
  • Logging tickets in project management and tracking software.
  • Setup of shops.
  • License activations.
  • Dealing with billing discrepancies.
  • Schedule and provide updates on mobile attendance and delays.

Desirable skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills for troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills for relaying technical and non-technical information from and to mobile technicians and end users.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy when scheduling and managing activities.
  • Ability to handle pressure and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, high energy and a customer-focused perspective.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, especially when working remotely with other technicians and customers.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

40 hours per week.
