Digital Support Apprentice

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive Digital Support Apprentice to join our fast-paced team. This role is vital to the smooth running of our operations, especially around travel logistics and daily team coordination. Responsibilities:

  • You will work as first response, managing a central mailbox of all incoming customer enquiries, escalating when required.
  • You will become a super user of all our bespoke software packages; SOHO, TO GO and PALISIS. Working collaboratively with colleagues to support customer requests.
  • Process customer bookings, create itineraries, process payments and update marketing collateral across bespoke platforms.
  • Use bespoke software packages and Excel to review and manage business performance.
  • You will be responsible for internal security of customer information by adhering to all GDPR regulations with handling customer information.
  • Use collaborative technologies like Microsoft Teams to communicate internally with colleagues and with external customers for handling booking queries.
  • Be ready to jump in and support the team wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

Salary: £18,000 per annum.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

This vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.  Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work.  They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
