Trainee Electrician

About the role

In this role, you will get hands on experience in various tasks that will help develop your skills, allowing you to progress in the business. Electricians in our business work on heavy machinery and play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing plants functioning. 

What will the apprentice be doing? 

  • General maintenance.
  • Managing breakdowns on site and finding faults
  • Adding new systems on site for better productivity. 
  • Running electrical tests
  • Health and safety checks which include risk assessments and fire alarm tests 
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring safety comes before anything else! 
  • Taking pride in all work completed and being determined to succeed !

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? 

  • Maintenance And Operations Engineering Technician (MOET).
  • The apprentice will attend College on Block release.

Qualifications 

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade C or above (Level 4 or above) essential

Life on site will involve working both inside and outside. It won’t always be glamorous and you may find yourself in a dusty or confined environment. Your safety and health is our number one priority and full protective clothing and equipment is provided.
