Social Media Manager Apprentice

About Us:

Beettoo is a different kind of specialist agency, built on a unique foundation of B2B experience and knowledge, with the simple aim to deliver better value for B2B marketers through a more expert, agile, and accountable agency model.

We work closely with global clients across the technology, life sciences and financial industries and beyond to deliver support and strategy in content, organic and paid social media and advertising. Under our agile model, we collaborate with B2B partners across the world, with Beettoo serving as a single point of contact for our clients in order to deliver seamless, industry-leading service.

If you are an enthusiastic and results-driven individual who is interested in a career in social media and content marketing, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

The junior social media manager will work closely with the content and social manager to support our clients with organic social media copy, assets and reporting, alongside other long- and short-form written content.

The role combines responding to day-to-day client requests with long-term strategic thinking. By evaluating the performance of projects and partnerships, we advise our clients on the best approaches to everyday challenges and how to evolve their content.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who is keen to learn about social media and content marketing and expand their writing and editorial skills.

At Beettoo, you will be supported to learn and develop into whichever areas of the business you find most interesting as you grow into your role. You will learn from industry leaders, contribute to a close-knit team, and be part of conversations across all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the content and social manager, responsibilities include:

  • Responding to client requests for social copy and assets
  • Managing and monitoring client social media accounts
  • Compiling social performance statistics and reporting your findings
  • Assisting with the development of Beettoo’s social presence
  • Contributing to long-term internal and external strategy
  • Collaborating with internal teams including paid social, analytics, and freelancers to ensure seamless execution of campaigns

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong writing skills are essential. You will need a ruthless grasp of spelling and grammar, and the confidence to adopt multiple tones of voice as you move between different projects
  • A firm grasp of social media – the industry trends, the strengths of different platforms, and how to use them to achieve business goals
  • Image editing skills (or a willingness to learn). You will not be called on to work on complicated design projects, but will need to develop a grasp of good design principles
  • Comfortable with numbers and statistics
  • Beettoo offers a collaborative and supportive environment, but you will also need the confidence to work independently
  • Our business is client based, so patience, professionality and clear communication are essential
  • A passion for learning new skills and challenging yourself

Please note, we are not able to accept submissions from non-permanent UK residents.
