Digital Support Apprentice

Overview:

Circet UK are currently recruiting for a Digital Support Apprentice to provide digital and on-site support with our work flow tool - the AFS app is used by engineers out on site to capture health and safety risk assessments, digital evidence and access job pack files. We also utilise a desktop version of the app for our subcontractors to manage work stacks and invoice for completed work

As part of the role you will learn both sides of this system helping users gain access by creating login details as well as answering common questions and queries the engineers have. After learning the AFS system you will then also progress to teaching new users the basics of the system helping them gain valuable knowledge of how the app functions and then supporting them while they put what they have been shown into practise

Responsibilities:

  • Review access requests and create accounts for users on our AFS Application.
  • Maintenance of the system keeping records up to date on AFS.
  • Act as first response to any internal or subcontractor AFS user issues, triaging these, reporting any issues and where appropriate escalating these to the IT team.
  • Test new features put into development before they are released to users, spotting any potential bugs for crews out on site and reporting before they are released. All bugs should be logged onto a centralised Sharepoint document.
  • You will become a superuser of AFS and train new staff on the basics of how to use the system, this will be done via mixture of Microsoft Teams and in person meetings. You will then log all training conducted via Circet’s internal system, Aurora.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in your team by sharing learnings and promoting high standards of work.

Desirable skills:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and planning skills.
  • Effective time management skills. 
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team. 
  • Previous experience in a similar role. 
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision is essential. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 
  • Essential: A valid UK driving license.

Salary: £23,000 per annum.

Working hours: 40 hours per week,
