Digital Content Apprentice

Do you have a passion for creating inspiring content? Are you a creative storyteller? Then you could be just what we are looking for as includem’s new part-time Digital Content Apprentice.

About the role:

You will play a key role in bringing the work and mission of includem to life across digital platforms. Reporting to the Communications & Public Affairs Manager, you’ll help develop and deliver impactful content on our website, social media, and internal SharePoint intranet.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a small, dynamic team and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll be supported to grow your skills, use your initiative, and truly make a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, accurate, and accessible content for a wide range of audiences including children, young people, families, and stakeholders.
  • Support in storyboarding, scripting, filming, and editing video and audio content—including conducting interviews with service users, staff, and partners.
  • Visually communicate key messages and stories across includem’s digital and social media platforms.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content tailored to our audiences across multiple social media channels.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a strong communicator with a creative eye and a flair for storytelling.
  • Has experience or interest in content creation – written, visual, video, or audio.
  • Have some experience with digital tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, or social media platforms.
  • Is organised, adaptable, and proactive.
  • Is a team player, but also confident working independently and taking initiative.
  • Is eager to learn and grow in a supportive and meaningful work environment.

Salary: £15,725 per annum (part time)

Working hours: 3.5 days a week (flexible), 9am - 5pm.

This vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.  Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work.  They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
