We offer three routes. Advanced (Level 3) apprenticeships, build practical capability from day one, with hands-on roles such as Aerospace Fitters, Technicians, Machinists and Pipe Welders. Many programmes start with foundation skills at our Apprentice Academy/Nuclear Skills Academy or an approved provider, followed by rotations in the business while you work towards your Apprenticeship Standard and qualifications. For those ready to specialise further, Higher (Level 4) apprenticeships include the Nuclear Engineering Technician pathway, building skills that support the UK Royal Navy’s submarine fleet.
Our Degree (Level 6) apprenticeships combine real responsibility with a fully funded degree across business and engineering options – examples include Enterprise Business Management, Digital & Technology Solutions, Finance (with a Master’s-level professional qualification), Project Management and Supply Chain, plus engineering tracks in Aerospace and Submarines such as Electrical & Electronics, Manufacturing, Materials, Non-Destructive Testing and Software.
