Our programmes are designed to provide meaningful experiences, professional development and a clear pathway into the world of work.

Our Early Careers Programmes:

Work Experience Programme

• Duration: 1–4 weeks

• Format: Unpaid placements with lunch allowance and travel reimbursement

• Purpose: A taster of Christie’s for those exploring careers in the arts

• Intake: Rolling, approx. 200 placements per year

• Application: Apply via email with your CV, departments of interest and availability [email protected]

Internship Programme

• Duration: 6-12 months

• Format: Paid role, supporting and gaining against within one of our departments

• Purpose: Provide hands-on experience in a professional art business environment, aligned to one department

• Intake: Rolling throughout the year, approx. 75 interns annually

• Focus: Department-specific experience

• Application: Through our careers page

Apprenticeship Programme

• Duration: 15–16 months

• Format: Paid role with structured training and professional experience

• Purpose: Develop practical skills while earning a nationally recognised qualification

• Intake: Annual average intake of 30 apprentices across almost all departments

• Focus: Combines on-the-job training with a nationally recognised qualification
