Right now, we’re looking for school leavers wanting to start their career in accounts as a trainee accounting technician, studying towards the AAT qualification. You may then complete your ACCA so in total it’ll take about four to five years to qualify.
About the office
Our Leeds team has clients reaching across the whole county, including a strong presence within Harrogate, Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region. The office provides advice to a range of clients, including: Commercial/owner managed businesses, landed estates, private wealth and the Not for Profit/Charities sector and advises its clients on all aspects of the business and personal wealth lifecycle.
About your role
However, qualifying is not just about passing your exams; gaining valuable work experience is so important.
You'll work in a friendly and progressive environment in a client facing, fast paced role which includes advisory elements and often deals with high profile clients.
The work is varied and ranges from typical year end compliance through to ad-hoc advisory and project work. The client base is a mix of sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, limited liability partnerships, trusts and smaller private charities.

You'll also receive excellent training and support for your studies. We use first-class tuition centres and organise our own off-site trainee programmes. You’ll get to meet and socialise with trainees across all offices, so it isn't all just work, and you can have fun too.

About the qualification
You will start with your AAT studies. You can start at Level 2, 3 or 4 and this is to be decided at offer stage.
