Summary:

Our Live-Out Support Assistant program offers a unique opportunity to provide essential care while receiving comprehensive training and support. As a Support Assistant, you'll engage in meaningful work while having the flexibility to pursue your own goals.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the well-being and independence of individuals with learning disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing dedicated support in alignment with agreed care plans, encompassing all facets of daily life
  • Offering practical, physical, and emotional assistance while actively encouraging freedom of choice and self-sufficiency
  • Collaborating as an integral part of a team, fostering clear communication with professionals and families

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive training and guidance to complete the Care Certificate qualification, with potential for sponsored study towards a QCF qualification

No experience is required although experienced assistants will find we do care differently and embrace the transformative power of meaningful connections and relationships between both assistants and the people with learning disabilities we support.
