LTSB are in
its 6th year of partnership with NatWest Group and are looking for young people
who are passionate about Banking & Finance to join a range of
apprenticeship opportunities in permanent roles with the bank in 2024.
Elevate Programme
We are offering places on our three-week
interactive programme where you will receive employability training,
interaction with NatWest Group staff and Q&A sessions, gain insight into
the culture at NatWest Group and other employers, interview prep work and
advice from previous LTSB students on their apprenticeships.
Programme start date: Monday 1st
July
Successful completion of our programme guarantees you
an interview with NatWest Group for a permanent role.
Starting Salary: £23,940
Additional support:
LTSB will continue to support successful candidates
until roles commence in October 2024, and then for the first year of your
career. We’ll be there to offer 1-2-1 support, ensuring you can reach your full
potential and tackle any issues you may face along the way.
On the apprenticeship you’ll study to gain a
qualification while putting new skills to use in work, earning a competitive
salary, and being supported professionally through the programme.

Example Job Description (the role you'll be doing)

Provide workforce
analysis specifically for Organisation Design, Strategic Workforce Planning,
and Skills (OWD).
·
Select, process and
present data that meets the specifications of the OWD Consultants.
·
Design and
implement the most effective and efficient visual representation solutions for
presenting data.
·
Support the Data
Scientist with model development.
·
Produce ad hoc
analysis accurately and at pace.
·
Run routine
analytics on the Job Architecture performance.
·
Liaise with the
P&T Data & Analytics team where necessary to ensure alignment with them
as CoE.
·
Collaborate on the
Data Literacy Learning Journey for the OWD team, contributing ideas and
delivering content.
·
Build and use
commercial awareness to enhance analysis.
·
MS Excel key part
of role; PowerBI, Tableau, AWS, Python an advantage but opportunities will be
there to develop these in role.
Eligibility
We are looking for young people aged 16 – 24 who are passionate
about building a career in Digital & Technology. You don’t need
previous experience, but you do need to show evidence of a genuine interest in
the role and the banking sector.
We work in
areas where talent struggles to find opportunity, and so we are specifically
looking for young people who were eligible for free school meals, or from areas
of low educational attainment, or have faced personal disadvantage. To be
