IT Support Technician Apprentice

Overview:
Pandr Computing are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

Salary: £18,000 per annum.

Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England, CH65 3EN

Duties:  

• Pro-actively manage approximately 40+ customer accounts, building strong relationships with all members of client staff
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated issues from the 1st line support team
• Investigate and resolve incidents related to network connectivity, hardware, software, and applications
• Supporting Office 365 applications and file storage systems such as SharePoint
• Callouts to clients sometimes required to install and configure networking equipment
• Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements
• Analyse system logs and identify potential issues or trends
• Azure, Exchange Online and Entra Active Directory administration

Desirable skills / experience:

• Knowledge of firewall configurations and troubleshooting
• Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy
• Networking equipment including Routers, Switches and Firewalls
• Knowledge of Education software 
• Ability to analyse DNS configurations and resolve DNS-related issues
• Proficient in desktop support, including hardware and software installations

Essential: 
Having a full driving licence and your own vehicle is required - as the role involves travel to client sites.

Personal qualities: 

• Confident communicator and adaptable with strong technical skills are required
• Have experience providing technical support with the following technologies and systems

Entry requirements: 

• 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject 
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above) 
• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
