Our Finance teams play a vital role in the success of Lloyds Banking Group. They do so much more than day-to-day-accounting. With new technology, competitors, and different customer needs, the industry is always changing.

They focus on data insights, financial markets, regulation, and investment, developing controls to manage risks and ensure we meet industry standards—always prioritising what’s best for our business and our 26 million customers.

With a keen eye for detail, they work with care, collaboration, resilience, and creativity, identifying patterns others might miss, assessing their financial impact, and turning them into opportunities.

This is an opportunity to learn new skills, work towards becoming a qualified chartered accountant and get all the support you need to establish your career. Ready to play your part?

Salary

£25,000 plus fantastic benefits.  Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, your salary will increase.

While you settle in, you’ll mostly be working in your hub office. As your apprenticeship progresses, you’ll move to hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office each week.

Requirements

What you’ll need to apply

For our roles in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man you’ll need GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4-9 in both Maths and English, plus 3 A levels at grade A*-C. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old on 1st September 2025.

For our roles in Scotland, you’ll need National 5 (or equivalent) at grade A-C in both Maths and English plus 3 Highers at grade A-C. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old by the end of February 2026.

These grades can be predicted, but any offer made to you will be conditional upon successful achievement of these qualifications.

If you have a degree, you can still apply for one of our apprenticeships, but this cannot be in a subject that’s related to the apprenticeship. We’ll need to see a copy of your degree module transcript to review your prior learning.
