At Level 5, the teaching and learning strategies used by tutors will continue to develop higher order intellectual skill of analysis but the focus will be on the development of evaluation and professional competence. This will be achieved through the use of a variety of mechanisms, particularly through the use of supervised counselling placements. Independent learning will be encouraged and supported.
