Digital Support Apprentice

Overview:

This is a company who have supported 2 QA Apprentices before, so you are in safe hands! As a Digital Support Apprentice, your role is varied, hands-on, and ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy, people-focused workplace. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative spirit, as you’ll be working closely with colleagues across all levels to keep things running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for Rouken Bio’s internal and external customers, responding to queries or passing to appropriate colleagues to assist.
  • Becoming a superuser of Neve (independent system operator and planner) which you will use to access Rouken Bio’s asset register to management inventory and respond to ticket requests in relation to a need for office equipment.
  • Booking rooms as required for the Senior Leadership Team, including board and company meetings as well as assisting the CEO with diary management and manage the online meeting room diary via Microsoft Outlook for the Senior Leadership Team where required.
  • Collaborating with contractors to support the approved MS Excel contractor list, requesting and updating records with most up to date liability insurance information.
  • Supporting onboarding processes for new starts, ensuring workspaces are set up and ready for their arrival and tracking information on CMap (a project management tool).
  • Arranging transportation of guests to/from the building when required.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a desire to grow and progress within a supportive team.
  • A natural ability to support others, both in daily tasks and in maintaining a positive work environment.
  • A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Open to feedback. 

Salary: £22,932 per annum

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
