Apprentice – Accounts Assistant

Main description

As part of the Finance team, you will support the Payables and Receivables functions of the London campus.

Accounts Payables (AP) duties:

  • Reconcile Supplier’s invoices to Purchase orders before import into the Accounting system
  • Monthly reconciliation of Credit card and travel agency statements
  • Creating Suppliers (after compliance checks) in Purchase orders systems and SAP
  • Dealing with AP queries and emails

Banking:

  • Processing incoming payments
  • Processing all outgoing payments (incl. Direct Debits)
  • Sales and purchase ledger reconciliation

Finance:

  • Assist the team with end-of-year entries (prepayments, and accruals)
  • Contribute to ad-hoc Budget and Cost control tasks

Entry requirements: GCSE or equivalent

Things to consider

If you are successful in securing an interview, you are likely to be required to attend a pre-interview at ESCP. £325-345 per week depending on profile.

Future Prospects

Possibility to stay and progress to level 4 or ACCA depending.
