After completing a games development course at college, 19 year old Dudley struggled to find work and was unemployed for six months. With Ingeus’s help, Dudley quickly secured a role as operations apprentice at Wayland Games, and has been so successful the company has recruited a further four apprentices.
Responsible for updating the company website, his role plays to his strengths, and has given him a new found confidence: ‘It’s great to be praised for my work and I hope the other new recruits benefit as much as I have from the apprenticeship scheme.’
Operations Manager Stuart Mackaness is just as pleased: ‘Dudley is an absolute asset to our business and has given me total confidence in repeating our apprentice recruitment next year.’
