No day is the same as a Caterer in the RAF

Morag, 19, Caterer

“I joined the RAF in 2015 after studying Hotel and Hospitality at a local college; I come from a military family so joining the RAF was a natural course of action for me.

After the excitement of Phase 1 training I moved to Worthy Down to complete my Phase 2 Training. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Catering Training Squadron and much to my delight I was awarded with both the 2016 RAF Trainee and Apprentice of the Year accolades for my efforts. My first posting was to RAF Waddington where I have been catering for Officer Dinner Parties, Royal Visits and Balls.

Whilst based at RAF Waddington I have managed to travel and also take part in a 100 mile cycle event. I entered the Golden Service Scholarship competition, which is a competition for my trade and feel proud to have reached the regional semi-finals.”
