I chose to be an apprentice as it seemed like the best way to gain a recognised qualification while learning. I’m getting hands-on experience and getting paid at the same time. My experience as an apprentice so far has been exciting. No two days are the same and there is a lot of variety in my work. I have gained valuable knowledge and advice from more experienced colleagues, which has helped me become more confident in my ability to complete practical tasks as well as find faults within domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems.
