Jack, Level 3 Electrical Apprentice, Harvey Centre
5 years ago

I chose to become an apprentice because I wanted a challenge of entering the world of work as soon as possible. I decided to do an apprenticeship as it's something new every day and different from school. So far I'm really enjoying my apprenticeship, having different challenges every day, learning new skills and getting better at overcoming challenges. It’s given me a lot of confidence. This is made possible from the help of my colleagues who have helped me fit in and are teaching me step-by-step what I need to know to become a successful apprentice, which is great.
