I’ve had a lot of different jobs before I joined the Surge team including working as a roofing contractor, general labourer, fruit picker, bar work, groundsman, sportcoach, a disability learning mentor, a carer, a warehouse operative and a site co-ordinator. I’ve also travelled for a year.
I really wanted to get my head down and focus on my future somewhere where there was the potential for career progression, which is why I joined Surge.
I absolutely love Surge, I’ve never had a job that I have truly enjoyed before and I look forward to coming into work every day. The people I work with motivate me to be a better in everything I do. The Surge Team has given me the opportunity to meet different people and do a variety of work in different places and departments. The experiences I’ve had are unbelievable, I never thought I would do a fraction of what I’ve done so far in the last 8 months!
