Case Study – From A Parents Perspective

John Woloszczak - Father of Georgia Woloszczak (Transport Planning Apprentice – Joined the business 2016)

Since my daughter has started her apprenticeship with WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff she has developed personal skills like learning to get on with others, working in a team, motivating oneself, using initiative and developing self-understanding when assisting at home.

The apprenticeship with WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff has given her other personal skills that she may not have of attained while continuing full time education such as earning a salary and having to open and mange her money and bank accounts as well as her personal holiday planning while having to consider that the department she is operating in has to keep functioning.

WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff appears to be very rewarding for her and has given her a greater maturity and responsibility than I would have expected and I will be discussing some aspects of what I have seen in my daughter’s development within my company.

I would certainly recommend any parent to support their child in an apprenticeship when they considering options for further or continuing education and especially with a company such as WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff who promote strong personal development.
