Audi Apprenticeship Programme- Daniel Watkins

Parts Advisor

Daniel learned of the Parts Advisor apprentice programme with Audi from his father, who is a warranty administrator with Audi.

Daniel preferred to join an apprenticeship programme instead of attempting to go straight into work as he could learn the skills and knowledge whilst also earning money.

The Parts Advisor apprenticeship was great for him as he likes “the organisation and the training that goes into it. I love being able to be organised.”

Daniel’s duties include stock checks, vehicle health checks, finding correct parts for the technicians, and speaking to customers.

The apprenticeship has given him the confidence to speak to customers, which he was too nervous to do beforehand. He’s also become competent at using computers.

Daniel loves the Audi brand. The dealership strives for 100% customer satisfaction and the idea of perfection. Daniel loves seeing customers walk into the dealership with a smile, and after speaking with him, leaving the dealership with even bigger smiles on their faces.

Daniel believes the training at the National Learning Centre has been absolutely fantastic, Daniel “couldn’t fault it in any way.”

The apprenticeship has inspired Daniel to aim for a management role within the business and to work hard to progress far in the brand.
