Apprentice of the Month……. Biviana Maria Bholanath
‘7 months ago I was in 6th form thinking about my future and where I wanted to be in 3-5 years time. Going to university was always my plan but felt my days at 6th Form wheredragging on and soon university was no longer in my plans.I was struggling to find a part time job then I found out about apprenticeships and became so passionate about getting involved. I also knew that this would be an opportunity to grow and gain experience within an organisation.
I joined ETICA (IT Recruitment Agency) 4 months ago, as a Resourcer. I had basic knowledge of recruitment but no experience what so ever. I was afraid to get on the phones and get rejected by my customers. With the training provided by my assessors, the support and patience of my colleagues and line manager I am now 100% confident to dial a number. I am now currently completing my NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service at ETICA, I have become more confident in myself and my abilities. In addition; I have successfully brought value to the company making 2 placements for one of ETICA’s bigger clients. My skills are developing and I am becoming an effective part of the team. I am now looking forward to proceed to my level 3 and becoming a permanent consultant at ETICA and grow within the organisation.
Choosing an apprenticeship is one of the best decisions I have ever made!
