The new courses - which include Challenging Behaviour Awareness, Dementia Awareness, Diabetes Awareness, Stress Awareness, Observational Skills for Carers, Infection Control, Loss and Bereavement and End of Life Care - educate learners on how to respond to different situations that arise when working with elderly and vulnerable individuals in a care environment.
Staff aged 16 and over requiring maths and English training can also study for Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills courses in these subjects with Connect 2 Care.
