Digital Marketing Agency Climb Online Meets East London College.

A Lesson In PPC & SEO From 2014 Apprentice Winner Mark Wright.

East London College invited Mark to speak to its computing students who had eagerley waited to meet the Apprentice winner and SEO guru. Many of the students are undertaking final projects which include developing websites and obviously have to give consideration to SEO and PPC.

They were not disappointed.

Here is an account of Mark's experience:

On Wednesday 8 April 2015,I was invited to speak to the BSc Computing course students at East London College. I am invited to do many talks on the subject of SEO and PPC, and it’s fair to say, I now have a general and basic presentation I use on these occasions.

Within, around, 2 minutesI realised that my ‘basic’ presentation would not be sufficient for the students of East London College.I was literally blown away by the engagement and knowledge level of the students.

I was being asked questions that only top-level industry experts would know and I was really challenged on viewpoints of the future of the computer and online industry. I was amazed.

I have since been in contact with East London College to have some students join my company - Climb Online, for work experience and for future employment opportunities, as it would normally take my recruitment team months to source new employees with this high level of knowledge.

"I must say that I was so impressed with the students, and thoroughly enjoyed the talk, because it was so much more interactive."

The students found the session compelling and informative and the interest could clearly be seen on their faces; the questions became more technical and for a while it seemed that Mark was speaking a new language based only on acronyms!

"That was an amazing experience," remarked one student, Fahim Ghole - a sentiment that was echoed by all his colleagues.
