Apprentice Broadcast Engineers
£11,500 Apprentice Salary + fully sponsored BEng Degree Programme
London, Salford & Birmingham / 3 year FTV starting September 2014
In September 2014 the BBC will be offering 18-23 year old school leavers three year contracts to work and train as Broadcast Engineers in technology teams with the BBC and industry partners ITV, Channel 4, Red Bee Media and Arqiva. This is a higher level apprenticeship which supports study towards a BEng (Hons) in Broadcast Engineering accredited by the Universities of Salford and Birmingham City, whilst also offering leading industry work placements. All University tuition fees will be paid by the BBC, as well as a competitive Apprentice’s salary.
It’s a huge opportunity for people passionate about Broadcast Technology, so in addition to excellent A Levels, you’ll need evidence that you have a drive for and interest in Broadcast Engineering.
Successful applicants will be part of a new generation of Broadcast Engineers that will help to build and support the broadcasting industry.
