Our brand new Creative Techniques course is all about finding your creative edge in a competitive industry - you will learn everything you need to get you started on the right path for your creative career.

We know that you want recognised skills that a qualification can bring but you want skills that will help you get a job and earn a living as quickly as possible...

This is an opportunity for any 16-24 year oldwho is looking to start an apprenticeship or a hands on vocational programme. The Creative techniques course will offer arecognised qualification and combine a range of creative techniques with CV writing, interview techniques and communication skills forthose who complete it.

The course is entirely free, happening 2 days a week. At the end of the course you will beequippedwith excellent design, jewellery making, digital skills and a CV. The skills and motivation to enter full time employment and start a career in business. You have the opportunity to earn an outstanding reference and personal recommendation from the Academy regardless of the path you chose to take upon completion. We can even help with work experience.

This course includes experimenting with various design techniques and drawing, designing and making simple jewellery.Students will look at the role of fashion and trend forecasting in design, what it takes to be a professional designer and the basics of how to set up in business as a jewellery maker.The Level 1 3D Creative Techniques course also includes a Level 1 Certificate in Employability and Personal Development,a fantastic course that will give you the edge when you start looking for a job (as well as covering other life-skills such as how to manage your budget.

The skills you will learn are transferrable to any creative discipline although we concentrate on jewellery because our tutors are experts in jewellery design and making.
