The Environment Agency offers a range of apprenticeship opportunities nationwide including our Environmental Practitioner Degree (EPDA)apprenticeship. Environmental Practitioners are employed in a wide variety of roles across many sectors, including voluntary and charity, public sector, educational institutions and private sector companies.
This is a four year degree apprenticeship, and it aims to equip learners with a high level of professional environmental expertise, gives a robust overview of key issues and policies and develop knowledge of regulations and legislation that organisations must consider when delivering specific projects.
You will develop knowledge and understanding of a range of environmental principles and techniques such as environmental policy and legislation, air quality, climate change, energy, water resources, waste management, ecology, acoustics, land contamination, sustainability, landscape or heritage.
