Trainee Land Surveyor And CAD Technician

Part of our work includes providing schools and academies with a full range of design, development, master planning and project management services for projects of any scale - from repurposing, refurbishing or updating existing facilities to new development schemes and complete rebuilds.

We are seeking a Trainee Land Surveyor and CAD Technician to join our team based in Stafford.

This role will involve travel. What you'll be doing :

• Day to day delivery of professional and technical development and surveying consultancy under direct supervision
• Regular travel to schools and multi academy trusts to create CAD plans and attend meetings.
• Undertaking topological and measured surveys of land and buildings utilising appropriate equipment and computer software including drones, 3D Printing and CAD.
• Working autonomously as well as alongside teams of Architects and the wider design Team including opportunities to support the Architectural design team  

What we're looking for?

• An enthusiastic individual with a passion for developing a career in the built environment
• Experience in using CAD and/or Autodesk Revit is desired, but not essential as can be trained on the job.
• Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.
• A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.
• Pride and passion for high quality survey work and customer service.

  Confident communicator, able to present articulately at client on-site meetings where required.

• A full UK Drivers Licence
