Supply Chain Data Apprentice

Graphic Packaging is a leader in consumer packaging solutions including folding cartons, cups, foodservice packaging, cooking solutions and multipack solutions.

Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a Data Essentials - Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

Being a great team player with excellent organisational skills and someone who has a strong attention for detail is ideal. 
Some planning experience is preferred, but not essential. 

Salary: £20,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities: [include, but are not limited to:] 

  • Raise purchase orders on Avante system as required
  • Daily download from Avante to effectively plan material requirements
  • Systems housekeeping
  • Maintain Avante MIS system with updated data
  • Raising orders for dies and consumables
  • Liaise with suppliers on all issues
  • Liaise with external warehouses and transport companies

What we are looking for / Desired skills: 

  • We are seeking a reliable, flexible individual with a strong work ethic who can prioritize and adapt to a variable workload.
  • The ideal candidate is punctual, presentable, and excels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle pressure and rapidly changing priorities are essential.

Essential experience:

  • Pro-active and can do attitude required 
  • Good standard of Microsoft Excel skills required 

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
