Vacancy Description:
Aire Logic are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer to join the development team.
You will assist with functions of software coding and design, as well as learning different codebase, gathering user data and helping respond to requests.
To ensure success as a junior developer you should have knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn quickly, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Role Duties:
- Assist with aspects of software design and coding
- Learn and develop existing skills
- Write and maintain code
- Respond to requests from team members
- Conduct tests
- Troubleshooting software issues
- Working on customer projects for our external clients
Desirable Skills & Qualities:
- Knowledge of basic coding languages such as Python, C#, Java etc.
- Basic programming experience
- Knowledge of Github
- Knowledge of different databases and operating systems.
- Ability to learn and develop in a new environment.
Entry Requirements:
- The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider
- OR an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR 2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
