Heirloom Fair Legal is a provider of legal financing focused on UK individual and small business consumer protection claims. We use data and technology to bring efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation to legal finance operations. Responsibilities:
- Help analyse and optimise business workflows related to legal finance and operations.
- Use coding skills to support the development, configuration, or integration of internal applications and tools.
- Assist in identifying and testing appropriate software or automation solutions.
- Help document processes and technical updates for cross-functional use.
- Work with non-technical team members to understand their needs and explain solutions clearly.
- Contribute to the maintenance, refinement, and troubleshooting of implemented tools.
- Keep up with trends in business process automation, legal tech, and relevant software practices.
Desirable skills:
- A foundational understanding of programming and software development (through coursework, bootcamps, online study, or personal projects).
- A strong interest in applying coding skills to real-world business workflows with enthusiasm for automation and operational efficiency.
- A collaborative, open-minded approach to learning and solving problems.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Interest in legal tech, financial operations, or business systems (experience not required).
Entry requirements:
- The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider
- OR an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR 2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:
40 hours per week, Mon to Friday, 9am - 6pm.
