An exciting new opportunity for a social media & Marketing Assistant with Kimble Solar, a fast-growing and award-winning family-run renewable energy installation business based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Job Description:

The primary role of the Social Media & Marketing Assistant is to manage the company’s social media posts and interactions and support the Marketing Manager in all marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable being on camera every so often to help create engaging and educational video content.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Creating and scheduling daily social media posts
  • Responding to social media comments and messages
  • Liaising with the videographer about social media content
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager in all marketing campaigns
  • Creating marketing collateral – graphic design experience a bonus
  • Emailing all customers upon job completion to ask for online reviews and a video testimonial
  • Liaising between client and the team re: filming at the client’s home
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager and wider team in miscellaneous office tasks

Skills Required:

  • Social media essential
  • Graphic design (using Canva and Adobe In-Design) a bonus.
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and writing skills

Personal Qualities:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive spirit and a can-do attitude
  • Organised and punctual

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
