Senior Solution Architect

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex IT solutions. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. They will be responsible for the overall architecture of the solution, including the selection of appropriate technologies, the design of the system, and the integration of components. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the solution is secure, reliable, and scalable. The Senior Solution Architect will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentoring to other members of the team. This role works within Capita TSS , supporting a large public sector client in London.   This is a technical customer facing role , both in the BAU space and within a large transformation program , working very closely with senior Customer, Internal and Supplier stakeholders .  

Role Responsibilities:  

  • Technical customer-facing role within a dynamic IT function.  
  • Involvement in both BAU and transformative projects.  
  • Close collaboration with senior stakeholders across various domains.  
  • Requires a strong background in M365 & Azure design and administration.  

What you will be doing:  

  • Configuration and administration of Microsoft M365.  
  • Management of M365 licenses and user accounts.  
  • Overseeing Azure configurations, cost management, and service administration.  
  • Ensuring the technical integrity of PowerBI reports, Intune, Datalake & Gateways, DLP, MFA/CA.  
  • Administration of Azure and M365 security principles, including Sentinel.  
  • Providing technical consultancy to BAU teams on a range of technical matters.  

What we are looking for:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and M365 Application Suite. 
  • Experience with MDM and application management using Intune. 
  • Knowledge of Azure networking and security concepts. 
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment technical and governance requirements.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA or HIPAA.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing solutions using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Ability to lead engagements, conduct workshops, and present to technical audiences. 
  • Competent in customer and supplier interactions at all levels.
