Senior Business Analyst

Home based role Help strengthen our Team as our Senior Business Analyst. Home based with occasional travel to client sites, expenses paid from home.

This is a great chance to join us as our Senior Business Analyst to perform in the capacity of a consultant, able to deliver within a programme or project on client sites around the UK.

Being responsible for eliciting, analysing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users.

You will be able to lead a team of Business Analysts, working closely with business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements and be involved in testing these as the delivery effort completes.

 

So, we are seeking business analysts with experienced in the delivery of business process improvement, business change and system development needs using either agile or waterfall approaches.

 What you will do:

 

  • Producing timely, cost effective and high-quality solutions to improve current processes or implement new ones, using analysis, business knowledge and sound personal judgement
  • Independently gathering, analysing and synthesising complex data and information including business strategy, objectives and processes
  • Developing business requirements and writing supporting documentation efficiently, applying quality standards to deliverables. Able to use BPMN and write user stories for supporting documents.
  • To lead review of key deliverables with client stakeholders and senior management decision-makers and coach more junior members of the team to develop these skills.
  • Functioning as a change agent to make improvements in organisations, operating models, systems, processes & procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommends possible solutions.

Your experience will include:

 

  • Experience as a senior business analyst with extensive experience in delivering to clients in the technical services sector. 
  • Able to confidently lead BA delivery within a project and mentor other BA's, as required.
  • Establish and effectively manage client delivery expectations.
  • Expert in selecting, planning and managing delivery of the appropriate BA artefacts required by the client.
  • Advance risk and issues management capability. 
  • Having delivered in a consultancy or professional services capacity
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills and experience
  • Workshop management.
  • Progressive critical thinking, problem solving professional.
  • Proficient in the use of BPMN.
  • Having experience in delivery of business improvement using LEAN six Sigma is highly desirable.
  • Develop business level requirements using methods such as EPICS, Use Cases, User Stories, Wireframes, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Functional and Non-functional Requirements..
  • Strong customer facing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Must be prepared to travel to client sites sometimes at short notice
  • Ability to gain SC Clearance

Desirable Experience/ Skills

 

  • ISEB BA Accreditation
  • Qualification in ITIL and/or PRINCE2 to Foundation level
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • System Analyst experience
  • BPMN documentation ability
