Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship Management & Leadership (CMI)

Overview

This qualification is ideal for managers who are able to input into strategic planning, delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, talent management and supporting individuals through coaching and mentoring. 

Aims

This qualification is ideal for Middle Managers, Operations Managers, Divisional Managers, Store Managers, Heads of Departments or specialist managers. Ideally, those managers who are able to input into strategic planning, delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, talent management and supporting individuals through coaching and mentoring.

This new CMI programme will lead to Membership of CMI (MCMI). The qualification can be funded through the apprenticeship and the fee is dependent on whether your employer pays the levy or not.

Modules

You will complete the following units: 

  • Principles of Leadership Practice
  • Managing Finance
  • Managing Change
  • Managing Project to achieve Results
  • Conducting a Management Project
  • Managing Stakeholder Relationships
  • Creating and Delivering Operational Plans
  • Principles of Developing, Managing and Leading Individuals and Teams to Achieve Success.

Delivery

You will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week, plus take part in training for approximately 1 day. The exact working and training hours will be dependent upon the needs of the employer.

Entry Criteria

Ideally, you will hold Level 2 English and maths but if not these can be completed during the programme. It would be beneficial for you to be working in a middle managers role or working towards this.
