Times of Delivery
Any times indicated are based on current courses and may be subject to change in future years. Full timetables will be confirmed at the start of each course.
Teaching and Assessment
You will be provided with support from a team of qualified housing lecturers who understand the industry and different needs of apprentices working at this level.
We also provide academic support with our HE Academic Support team who can provide one to one support as well as group sessions on topics such as referencing.
Assessment is varied across the programme, there are no exams but you will be expected to also produce work based evidence as part of your apprenticeship.
End Point Assessment
You will complete an End Point Assessment for this apprenticeship programme.
Industry Links
The course team work very closely with housing employers in the region as well as the Chartered Institute of Housing and Northern Housing Consortium. This ensures course content and delivery is up-to-date and meets the needs of the sector.
Maths and English
You will receive Functional Skills support from a qualified tutor who will support you throughout the qualification.
Placement
You will need to complete 20% of your work contract time on apprenticeship related activities throughout the full duration of your apprenticeship.
Entry Criteria
You will be working in the housing industry to ensure you are able to fulfil the housing apprenticeship standards. If you are not working in this area, you should have an apprenticeship placement with a housing employer.
Additional Costs
There are no additional costs. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing is included within the programme fees.
