LTSB are in its 6th year of partnership with
NatWest Group and are looking for young people who are passionate about Banking
& Finance to join a range of apprenticeship opportunities in permanent
roles with the bank in 2024.
Elevate Programme
We are
offering places on our three-week interactive programme where you will receive
employability training, interaction with NatWest Group staff and Q&A
sessions, gain insight into the culture at NatWest Group and other employers,
interview prep work and advice from previous LTSB students on their
apprenticeships.
Programme start date: Monday 1st July
Successful
completion of our programme guarantees you an interview with
NatWest Group for a permanent role.
Starting Salary: £23,940
LTSB will
continue to support successful candidates until roles commence in October 2024,
and then for the first year of your career.
On the
apprenticeship you’ll study to gain a qualification while putting new skills to
use in work, earning a competitive salary, and being supported professionally
through the programme.
Apprenticeship (the qualification you'll get): Accountancy Technician Level 4
Job Description (the role you'll be doing):

Contribute to assurance planning
and undertake process mapping.
·
Complete testing as prescribed
in the test plan.
·
Support a senior auditor in
continuous monitoring by undertaking fact finding, analysing MI or reviewing
risk information under close supervision.
·
Contribute to discussions on
identified issues and influence business managers.
·
Contribute to independent audit
engagement assurance by undertaking allocated tasks within the engagement life
cycle.
·
Provide quality, efficient, and
effective assurance and influence business managers to improve control.
Eligibility
We are looking for young people aged 16 – 24 who are passionate
about building a career in business and finance. You don’t need
previous experience, but you do need to show evidence of a genuine interest in
the sector.
Eligibility Criteria:
We work in
areas where talent struggles to find opportunity, and so we are specifically
looking for young people who were eligible for free school meals, or from areas
of low educational attainment, or have faced personal disadvantage. To be
eligible you must meet the following criteria:
