Bluebell Hill Nursery is a newly renovated provision that welcomes children from 6 weeks to 4 years. We offer a warm, safe and welcoming environment for every child in our care. With all focus on learning through play, we ensure that the priority is on fun and happy well-being for our children as well as their families and our staff.

As a level 3 apprentice you will be a key member of the nursery team, your daily activities may include:

• Planning and implementing fun and educational activities with the children 
• Play alongside and with children to support their play
• Supporting children’s creative and imaginative experiences 
• Maintaining development records on key children 
• Supervising children at rest times and at mealtimes 
• Contributing to and promoting health and safety 
• Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy at all times 
• Working closely with parents and providing feedback on their child

This position would suit a candidate with a bubbly, outgoing personality who is able to work on their own initiative and is prepared to commit to the work required for an apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

Good Maths- A-C (9-4) Grades in maths or equivalent is desired but not essential
Good English - A-C (9-4) Grades in English or equivalent is desired but not essential

Early years level 2 is desired but not essential

Relevant experience preferred with babies and children 6weeks-4years and those with SEN

Training to be provided

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma

End-Point Assessment (EPA)

On the job training
