Digital Print Operator

Capita Document and Information Services are looking for a Digital Print Operator to join them in a new permanent role. You will be working within a dynamic company specialising in the print/mail arena. Focusing on meeting clients' ever-changing demands, their main workload is transactional print/mail with tight turnaround times that they pride themselves on meeting.

The role will come with full training, along with a competitive salary and additional benefits, and it will be based in their Mansfield office.

What you'll be doing :

  • Assist in the operation of various digital printing machines, including but not limited to Canon XC10000, Canon VP6000 and Canon VP6180's. Also Canon continuous Inkjet printers
  • To operate and maintain specified machines
  • Complete consumables stock takes for the machines
  • Maintain machinery to required standard
  • Ensure printing quality standards are achieved and maintained on the machines

What we're looking for:

  • Successful, proven track record within the print/mail environment or similar
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • PC Literacy is preferable
  • A willingness to learn new skills
  • An ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
  • An ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • A willingness to work overtime when required
