Digital Office Support Apprentice

The Breadwinner Bakery is a family-owned wholesale bakery in Edinburgh, established in 1973, that specializes in handcrafted, additive-free breads, pastries, and cakes. They supply a wide range of products—including sourdough, vegan pain au chocolat, tray bakes, and seasonal treats—to local restaurants, cafés, and 17 Scotmid stores across the city.

They are looking for a Digital Office Support Apprentice to join their small office team on-site in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a digital support link between office and production teams, helping to plan and schedule efficiently using Microsoft Teams.
  • Become a super-user of core bakery systems including Cybake, QuickBooks, Procure Wizard, Acquire, and Enterprise Foods, supporting office staff in using these tools effectively.
  • Provide first-line digital support across the bakery, assisting colleagues with data entry, customer records, and stock management through various software platforms.
  • Use QuickBooks to manage financial tasks such as generating reports, processing payroll, and sending invoices.
  • Gain advanced access to Cybake and CaseFlow, supporting production planning, customer order management, inventory control, and compliance.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) to manage communications, invoicing, and data handling with a high level of accuracy.

Salary: £14,722.50 per annum

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8am - 3.30pm.
