Overview:
We are seeking a creative, organised, and results-driven Digital Marketing Apprentice to take charge of our social channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a flair for engaging content, and a solid understanding of social media trends—especially as they relate to B2B and service industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage a results-driven social media strategy aligned with our business goals.
- Create, schedule, and publish high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content (images, videos, stories, etc.) across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and others as appropriate).
- Grow and nurture our online community, responding to comments, messages, and customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance, providing regular insights and recommendations.
- Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring our channels remain fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate with the wider team for campaign ideas, promotions, and brand consistency.
- Manage and grow our brand hashtags and online reputation.
Desirable skills:
- Strong written communication and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in content creation, copywriting, and basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe, etc).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Professional, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
Additionally, the following experience would be beneficial:
- Photography, basic video editing, and graphic design skills.
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts (portfolio or examples required).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, etc).
- Knowledge of the cleaning/facilities management sector.
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
