Data Analyst Apprentice

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Data Analyst Apprentice to join our EMEA ITS team at our Manchester Head Office in Trafford Park.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyse data for governance projects, ensuring alignment with global initiatives.
  • Work with HQ and regional teams to track and implement security programmes.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovations through data analysis.
  • Support financial planning and cost-saving initiatives with data insights.
  • Represent the IT department by providing data-driven analysis on governance and security projects.
  • Assist in tracking compliance with ISO27001, GDPR and NIS2 regulations.
  • Develop KPIs to measure IT performance.
  • Analyse project ROI and benefits to assess impact and success.
  • Produce and maintain Power BI reports to track key metrics and provide visual insights for stakeholders.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience in data entry, administrative, or clerical roles, with familiarity in managing data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for managing and analysing data.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Interest in IT.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills.

Entry requirements:

Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

Plus:

  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above 
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible hours 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm / 10am - 6pm
