Data Administration Apprentice

City Recruitment Services collaborates with BLS International Services (UK) to provide HR, recruitment and payroll support. Our mission is to deliver exceptional service to BLS and its clients, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standard of professionalism.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join us as Data Administration Apprentices at our Manchester office. This role involves providing front-line customer service and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist applicants in-person and over the phone, delivering professional support while developing strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Manage appointments, emails, and documentation, ensuring secure handling of sensitive data in line with GDPR and compliance standards.
  • Perform accurate data entry and record-keeping, sourcing and formatting data from trusted systems for internal use and analysis and presentation.
  • Support data analysis and reporting, blending structured and unstructured data to generate business insights.
  • You will also gain exposure to wider business operations and support internal teams, with full in-house training and mentoring provided.

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Spanish or Italian language skills (essential).

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm with 45 minutes lunch break.
