Vacancy Description:

Finance sits at the heart of the business and therefore you will be a talented and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant working within the finance team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the company while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and supportive work environment. Key responsibilities in the role will include:

  • Processing Sales Orders: Utilise data management techniques to efficiently process and track sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Credit Management: Analyse customer credit data to ensure all customers have sufficient credit and are up to date with payments before passing any order.
  • Account Setup: Set up new customer and supplier accounts on relevant systems, leveraging data entry and management skills.
  • Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile sales and fees for online shopping platforms using data analysis techniques to ensure accuracy.
  • Online Sales Invoices: Send online sales invoices as requested, utilising data management systems for efficient processing.

  • High attention to detail, completeness and reconciliation of information.

  • Someone who enjoys a challenge, but also someone who enjoys working as part of a dynamic and hands on team!
Entry Requirements:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
 
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
