Overview: 
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Apprentice to join our small but fast-paced business. Based in the North Muirton Industrial Estate, this role will support our Office Manager with a variety of tasks. 

Please note, we will be relocating to Balbeggie in March, so candidates must have suitable transportation arrangements and be comfortable with the move.

Key Responsibilities: [you will undertake a variety of tasks in the office, including but not limited to:] 

• Maintaining files and records: Ensuring that all files (both paper and electronic) are up to date, organised, and easily accessible across the office 365 package.
• Answering the telephone & professionally: Handling incoming calls and dealing with customer inquiries efficiently using the HiHi Phone System: Used for managing incoming and outgoing calls. You will learn to operate this system to ensure prompt, professional communication with customers and suppliers.
• Team collaboration: Taking instructions, supporting team members, and contributing to a positive work environment, maintaining and building relationships with new and existing customers.
• Assisting with additional tasks: As required to meet the changing needs of the business becoming a systems expert within Simpro: A comprehensive job management tool. You will use Simpro, Schedule and manage jobs for our field team. Request and compare supplier quotes to secure the best pricing on materials for projects.
• Become a super user for BigChange software, a resource planning and job tracking tool that helps us monitor progress and ensure efficient allocation of resources across projects.

These systems are integral to your day-to-day responsibilities full- training will be provided as well as an apprenticeship through QA within Digital Applications Support.

About you / We are looking for someone who is:

• Organised and detail-oriented.
• A strong communicator with excellent telephone manners.
• Team-oriented and willing to support colleagues as needed.

Working week: 
From 37.5 hours per week [can vary], Monday to Friday (full-time).

Salary:
£15,000 per annum.
