The Boost Scholarship is for students in their final one or two years of an IET accredited degree or accredited degree apprenticeship, who have obtained 70% and above at the end of their 2nd or 3rd year of university.
For this scholarship, you’ll receive £1,500 per year for up to two years.

The criteria
- UK residents only*
- Open to part-time and full time students
- For students in their final year of their BEng or the last two years of their MEng IET accredited degree or accredited degree apprenticeship
- Please check the list of IET accredited programmes on our website
- If your apprenticeship scheme is IET accredited, but your degree is not IET accredited you may still apply.
- An extra year’s funding is available for BEng students who undertake an IET accredited MSc.
*Applicants must be a resident of the UK for three years at the time of applying for a scholarship.
