We’ll get you started right away, learning some job specific skills such as analysis and design techniques you can use to break down problems. You will use these to build effective and secure software testing solutions, using contemporary software development languages and modern development methodologies and practices. We’ll teach you how to produce high quality code with sound syntax in at least one language and maybe more – the sky is your limit!
Day to day, you’ll work with our internal development teams to develop and maintain software solutions. You’ll use those solutions to generate insights that will help you support the best experiences for our customers. You’ll innovate, develop, debug and refactor code using the best practices and share your valuable insights with your colleagues.
You will join an in-house software development team that is at the heart of BT & EE developing exciting new products and services for enjoyment in the home including Internet access, Wi-Fi, embedded applications to control your home (e.g. security, gaming, IoT)”. This role is available in the Networks part of our business.
As a Degree Apprentice Software Engineer, you’ll study for a BSc Computer Systems L6 Degree. This is an apprenticeship degree course and on successful completion, you’ll receive a degree from one of our university partners (completion is required to retain the role).
